Job Description

Responsible for managing and driving the end-to-end digital experience of CEMEX‘s global digital solutions. Lead a global team of motivated Product Designers. Work closely with the User Interface, User Experience, Software Development and Product Management areas to provide digital solutions that attend the needs of the users. 

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage a talented global team and collaborate with various corporate areas.
  • Constantly identify new user experience improvement.
  • Ensure the corporate UI and UX guidelines are properly used and followed.
  • Manage full cycle digital projects.
  • Produce high quality wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes.
  • Monitor and evolve the digital solutions being used at CEMEX.
  • Build a strong and collaborative design practice.
  • Deeply understand user needs.

Position Challenges

  • Collaboration with many areas in various countries.
  • Constant communication with the team members.
  • Work closely with the development teams and validate the final digital solutions.


  • Fluent Spanish and English
  • Bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in one of the following areas: Graphic Design, Information Systems, Business Management, UI/UX or Product Design.
  • +10 years of Product Design, UI/UX and/or Product Management related experience.
  • +5 years of leadership experience with direct reports.
  • Knowledge of commercials and supply chain processes.
  • Good knowledge of Sketch/Figma, Invision
  • Executive speaking and writing, presentation skills, empathetic, good listener.
  • Knowledge in HTML, CSS, Javascript, Typescript
