Overhead Crane Operator

Job Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Technology or equivalent
• Good knowledge in overhead crane operations; heavy equipment operations
• Basic maintenance skills (mechanical/electrical), basic lubrication knowledge
• Knowledge in Safety procedures
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Willing to work in Antipolo
• Can start ASAP

Job Purpose

• Operate overhead crane in transporting materials from storage to specified location and ensure that levels of material bins are met accordingly for continuous feeding to meet production requirements.

Main Accountabilities

• Operations

Operate and conduct routine inspection of overhead crane; Coordinate with his co-reliever equipment status and prepare turn-over reports; Monitor material at bins and compartments in order to ensure continuous equipment operations. Performs basic equipment lubrication and maintenance as needed. Perform regular housekeeping in work areas. Operate RDF crane as need arises.

• Production Target

Immediately report any problems that can affect production output or may cause stoppage and damage on the equipment in order to attain high capacity and high operative efficiency.

• Product Quality

Ensure proper loading of materials into bins and stockpiling of at designated compartments; Feed materials according to specified proportion in order to ensure product quality.

• Reports

Accomplish all reports needed on logbooks and checklists in order to record the events and activities which will be used as an effective tool to come up with a best decision. Regularly update electronic database and checklists.

Participate in departmental meetings, trainings and other corporate activities to achieve personal and career goals.

• Environment Health and Safety

Comply to corporate policies on environmental, health and safety to conform with government mandated policies; maintain accident-free operation and achieve plant safety objectives.

• ISO Certification

Practice and conform to all certification guidelines and procedures; Participate in annual audit to maintain and ensure renewal of certification.
