Procurement Planner

JOB SUMMARY

Assure the provision of goods and services that guarantee the continuity in the cement production process WITH THE OBJECTIVE of ensuring timely delivery of all material requirements ACCORDING to corporate specifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

PLANNING and MONITORING

Plan and monitor the implementation of the  annual, quarterly and monthly  maintenance budget;

Work with maintenance planner in the dynamic certification of the goods and services program IN ORDER TO ensure timely  fulfillment of goods and services  required in cement operations.

PURCHASING

Prepare PRs and  track delivery to plant  for all goods and services  under contract/agreement IN ORDER TO maintain sufficient  inventory levels and ensure timely availability of items in the plant

NEGOTIATION

Responsible for negotiating the best terms of purchase of the equipment parts and services. Responsible of the utilization of the strategic sourcing methodology process and guarantees their compliance.

INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

Carry out  inventory reduction initiatives IN ORDER TO achieve supply targets and implement cost management directives.
