Cemex Egypt is looking for a highly analytical and strategic Market Intelligence & Economics Manager to join our team.

 

Position Summary:

 

We are seeking an experienced Market Intelligence & Economics Manager to transform market data and external insights into actionable recommendations that support strategic business decision-making.

This role focuses on analyzing market dynamics, macroeconomic trends, and competitive activities, while developing forward-looking insights, scenarios, and reports for senior management. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical expertise, business acumen, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, impactful insights that drive business performance and resilience.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Monitor market trends, industry dynamics, and competitive landscape.
  • Identify key risks, opportunities, and early warning signals.
  • Track competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market positioning.
  • Analyze macroeconomic indicators and assess potential business impact.
  • Develop market outlooks, forecasts, and scenario-based analyses.
  • Gather market intelligence through internal stakeholders and external sources.
  • Support risk assessment, prioritization, and decision-making processes.
  • Deliver clear insights and strategic recommendations to senior management.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align insights with business needs.
  • Prepare high-quality reports, dashboards, and executive presentations.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, with 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, macroeconomic trends, and competitive analysis.
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights.
  • Experience supporting senior stakeholders and contributing to strategic decision-making.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of data visualization tools is a plus.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
