Job Summary

The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for the generation of the monthly demand plan based on the S&OP Consensus Meeting. This role works closely with the Commercial and Operation teams to validate and optimize monthly plans. The main elements of this job focus on statistical demand analysis and commercial forecast analysis to reduce forecast error and better serve our customers.

Job Responsibilities

  • Run monthly and weekly statistical demand models to provide as an input to the supply optimization model and as guidance to share with commercial planners.
  • Maintain, test and improve statistical forecasting levels and models to continuously improve statistical forecast results.
  • Review and analyze commercial forecast to spot opportunity areas and work with commercial team to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly forecast accuracy reports to key S&OP stakeholders
  • Support logistics planning budget process.
  • Analyze current market and segment demand fluctuations to improve weekly supply planning models demand input.
  • Function as the primary expert regarding customer demand. Use this expertise to advise the S&OP team regarding how various demand events impact sales and be able to present statistical forecasts and explain the business and statistical assumptions used.
  • Master data management monitoring and managing assignation of customer segmentation and market information.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis to support regional logistics operation as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, Supply Chain, or related field of study from an accredited college/university
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects successfully
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong systems aptitude and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications with emphasis on Excel

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong analytical/math-based skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Advanced MS Office especially with Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts, etc.)
  • Experience with Microsoft Access, SAP BI/BW, SAP IBP or other external data systems preferred
  • Knowledge of Python, R, Anaplan, APO, IBP, and other Analytics/Statistical tools
  • Knowledge of statistical forecasting and forecasting methodology
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel as needed

Physical Requirements

  • Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree.
