Job Summary

The S&OP Analyst is responsible for supporting the monthly S&OP process by capturing highlights in the demand and supply networks. This position will also be involved in analyzing supply risks and potential supply sourcing alternatives, ensuring transparent communication and discussions with multiple stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

  • Documenting highlights of the logistics network and compile them into S&OP and monthly presentations. 
  • Coordinate with Logistics Planning, Transportation, and the Trading team to input the latest costs into supply optimization model. 
  • Support the S&OP process by maintaining and updating the existing supply planning database. 
  • Monitor key supply chain factors such as demand, operations, and inventory levels to discuss alternative options and ensure reliable supply sourcing strategies.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis to support regional logistics operation as needed.
  • Support the logistics planning budget process.
  • Comply with company safety rules and regulations; Will need to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) while visiting any operational facilities.
  • Support supply and demand planning duties as needed.
  • Perform other job responsibilities as assigned by management.
  • Generate KPI’s to Headquarters on a monthly basis
     

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management or Transportation and Logistics
  • 2+ years logistics and supply chain experience
     

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to prioritize projects, allocate resources and interact with all levels in an organization
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office with advance excel skills 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in optimization and scenario modeling
  • Proficiency in SAP and BI data retrieval
  • Strong sense of urgency, detail oriented and ability to drive results
  • Ability to work in a team environment 
  • Prioritize, handle multiple tasks and work in a fast paced and high-volume environment
     

Working Conditions

  • Capable to work extended hours as needed
  • Capable of working in an open concept office environment
     

Physical Requirements

  • Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree
  • Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently.   Job involves sitting most of the time, but also involves walking or standing for brief periods of time 
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees/visitors
