Job Summary

The Operative support director for CX USA must play a key role in understanding the business model to generate internal customer value, drive business strategy and improve performance through managerial reports and metrics.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support GES VP CX USA to manage the financial health of the business and provide initiatives and opportunities to improve performance.
  • Accurate budget & forecasting process. - Understand business dynamic and determine potential impacts in the month end results
  • Protect and oversee company assets. - Assure full compliance of policies, procedures, and internal guidelines.
  • Data processing and analysis. - Provide financial information with an understanding of the upstream and downstream implications of the levers that drive business.
  • Innovation. - Provide new technological solutions and automations to gain competitive advantage
  • Maintaining & investing in talent. – Manage and retain talent is critical for the department, team engagement is a priority.

 

Position Challenges

  • Top Management exposure. – Support GES VP CX USA to present month end results and main variance explanations to Country president and Central Controllership
  • Budget preparation. - Support business to elaborate and analyze annual Budget according to defined timeline (EBITDA & Working Capital)
  • Business growth projects. - Participate and execute company projects related to expanding, growth, or descoped, including capital expenditures and investments
  • Process optimization. – Look for process efficiencies through the implementation of new technologies that could help to reduce the cost to serve
  • Policy compliance. - Assure full compliance with internal and external policies, rules & guidelines. (SOX, PACS, Self-Assessments & KPMG audit reviews)
  • Handling uncertainty. - Be prepared to support and assist with Ad-hoc requirements
     

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Engineering, and MBA preferred. 
  • 10 years of experience in finance, costing and accounting areas
  • At least 5 years of experience managing a financial or administrative team in the industry: 
  • English, bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • MS Office, advanced excel skills, SAP experience, analytical thinking, IFRS context and understanding, and new technologies ambassador
  • Position require excellent written and verbal communications (public speaking), good presentation skills, strong sense of urgency, ethical and high compliance with institutional policies and active coach & mentor

Working Conditions

  • Capable of working in an office environment
  • Job involves sitting most of the time, but also involves walking or standing for brief periods of time

Physical Requirements

Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree
Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently Job involves sitting, walking or standing.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees/visitors
