Job Summary

Under the direction of the Director of Compensation, the Compensation Manager will be responsible of managing the company's compensation plans, organization control, incentive programs and policies in order to attract, motivate and retain the best talent.

Job Responsibilities

  • Research, analyze and interpret salary market data to effectively make compensation recommendations and decisions.
  • Manage the participation and completion various salary surveys within our industry and other companies. 
  • Responsible for the organizational management of the company.  Includes making or overseeing changes within Success Factors; specifically creating Jobs, Positions, and Job Profiles.
  • Oversee the administration and compliance of all incentive programs.
  • Responsible for the standardization and administration of the annual incentive and annual merit processes for all employees
  • Manage all expatriate compensation and administer international policies and visa procedures.
  • Review and ensure Compensation policies, SPD’s and processes are compliance for all compensation programs
  • Reviews and performs audits of new and existing positions to ensure compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
  • Develop and run a variety of ad hoc reports to assist the HRBPs or HR Managers with analysis  Reporting
  • Works closely with Cemex Corporate in administration of the Restricted Stock Plan
  • Responsible for the budgeting and administration of the Fleet Management Program.  Works closely with third party vendor regarding the administration.
  • Communicate HR processes and the implementation of new programs and policies by working closely with Field HR, Operations Management, BSO Payroll and the Legal department.
  • Must comply with company safety rules and regulations and wear proper safety equipment while on plant grounds.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field required
  • 5-7 years of Compensation experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Intermediate experience in Microsoft Excel required, Advanced experience preferred
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills required
  • Strong attention to details
  • Strong ability to interpret and analyze compensation data (examples of prior work may be requested)
  • Prior HR experience in Construction or Manufacturing environment preferred

Working Conditions

  • Ability to work with standard office/computer Equipment
  • Capable of working in an open office environment

Physical Requirements

  • Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree
  • Job involves sitting most of the time, but also involves walking or standing for brief periods of time 
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees/visitors
