Job Summary

We are seeking a Recruiting Supervisor to supervise the activities of the recruiting team to ensure open positions are filled efficiently and effectively in alignment with the organization’s current and future business needs. Ensures policies and procedures are followed by providing training and guidance to recruiters. Participates in the recruiting and onboarding process as needed.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provides ongoing coaching and development to recruiters, such answering questions, providing feedback, and onboarding new recruiters.
  • Represents and promotes organization to potential applicants by providing information, responding to questions, and collecting applicant data.
  • Partners with Human Resource Business Partners and Hiring Managers on the job openings to ensure an effective and efficient recruiting and onboarding process. 
  • Refers appropriate candidates to Recruiter, Human Resource Business Partners and/or Hiring Managers.
  • Assists recruitment team with methods of sourcing qualified candidates.
  • Assists recruitment team with customized screening and initial contact of applicants to determine qualification and interest level.
  • Educates the recruitment team on effective interviewing techniques and proper use of the ATS.
  • Track and report out to Talent Acquisition team key recruiting goals, objectives, and metrics.
  • Participates in and provides analytical support in design, development, and implementation of recruitment programs and enhancements projects.
  • Assists with identifying issues affecting recruitment and implementing recruitment activities to continuously improve process.
  • Develops and maintains comprehensive knowledge of recruitment, employment, compensation, benefits, pay administration, and other related organizational policies, practices, procedures, and/or regulations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
     

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.
  • 5+ years related job experience required in full-cycle recruiting/talent acquisition.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience. 
  • Knowledge of Behavioral Based Interviewing Techniques.
  • Ability to influence hiring managers in an ever-changing environment.
     

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Must be computer literate with proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn Success Factors software or other recruitment systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Disciplined and process oriented.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
  • Ability to design and lead training for recruiting partners and Human Resource Business Partners. 
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
     

Working Conditions

Sedentary Work with up to 25% event coordination that consists of long periods of standing and carrying

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
