Job Summary

As a Business Development Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving the growth and expansion of our organization through strategic partnerships and new business opportunities. You will play a pivotal role in identifying market trends, forging relationships with key stakeholders, and executing initiatives to drive revenue growth. This role requires a proactive approach to business development, strong networking skills, and the ability to leverage market insights to capitalize on emerging opportunities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute innovative growth strategies , driving transformative change and positioning the company for long-term success.
  • Drive alignment and mobilize multiple areas of the organization to effectively execute expansion projects, ensuring synergy and cooperation across various departments.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration, empowering team members to think creatively and leverage their expertise to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
  • Spearhead business development efforts, including identifying and pursuing greenfield opportunities, strategic partnerships, and potential M&A targets.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform strategic decision-making and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
  • Drive the seamless integration of new businesses into the company's ecosystem, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, values, and processes.

 

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: +8 years of proven track record of success in business development, strategic planning, and leadership roles, preferably in a similar industry. 
     

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Leadership: Exceptional leadership and management abilities, with the capacity to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious growth targets.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a focus on driving business growth.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of financial principles, market dynamics, and industry trends, enabling informed decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively, and to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Tools/Programs: Must be proficient in MS Office Suite, Power BI, Excel. Programming in Python is desirable
     

Working Conditions

  • Capable to work extended hours as needed
  • Capable of working in an open concept office environment

Physical Requirements

  • Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree
  • Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently.   Job involves sitting most of the time, but also involves walking or standing for brief periods of time
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees/visitors
