Job Summary

The On/offboarding Lead is responsible for setting the strategy and supervising the company’s onboarding and offboarding processes. Responsibilities include to partnership with the Human Resources and TCS team by managing and owning the full cycle onboarding and offboarding process. 

Job Responsibilities

Responsible of the process to expedite the time that it takes us to have a new hire ready to execute

Define and develop the necessary curricula every position needs to execute in CEMEX

Design a process that maximizes the reach of the resources we use to enable people

Develop talent market intelligence and propose action plans when required

Ensure level of service of TCS for on/offboarding processes 

Provide the HR field team with data to drive talent retention efforts

Ensure compliance in our R&O processes 

Develop KPIs and dashboards

Qualifications

  • Bachehlor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or relevant field
  • Proven work experience as a Onboarding Lead for 5 years
  • PHR or SPHR preferred. Any additional training or certificate will be considered an advantage

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Experience in full cycle recruiting, sourcing 
  • Understanding of all selection methods and techniques
  • Willingness to understand the duties and competencies of different roles
  • Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and databases
  • Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management and relevant software
  • Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement
  • Strong project management and leadership skills
  • Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships
  • Comfortable with collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data
  • Solid judgement with ability to make good decisions
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Good time-management skills
  • Great communication, interpersonal and networking skills
  • Hands on experience with sourcing software

Working Conditions

  • Capability to work extended hours as necessary
  • Ability to work with standard office/computer Equipment
  • Capable of working in an open office environment
  • Travel required with overnight stays (up to 35% per year)

Physical Requirements

  • Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree
  • Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently   
  • Job involves sitting most of the time, but also involves walking or standing for brief periods of time 
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees/visitors
