Job Summary

The Sourcing Lead is responsible for setting the strategy and supervising the company’s end to end sourcing operations. Responsibilities include to establish relationship and partnership with headhunters, driving schools, universities, and external vendors such as job boards.  

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible of increasing the volume of candidates applying to CEMEX 
  • Design strategies to maximize visibility of our postings and improve our communication with potential candidate
  • Develop talent market intelligence and propose action plans when required
  • Manage the staffing agencies and headhunters
  • Measure effectiveness of initiatives and report on organizational trends
  • Mange budget and effectiveness of job boards
  • Responsible of the international (H2B) driver program 
  • Develop relationships with driving schools and potential sources of candidates such as second chance programs and veterans
  • Ensure level of service of TCS for sourcing processes 
  • Validate integrity of job requisition in our career site and external job boards
  • Develop KPIs and dashboards

Qualifications

  • Bachehlor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or relevant field
  • Proven work experience as a Sourcing Lead for 5 years
  • PHR or SPHR preferred. Any additional training or certificate will be considered an advantage

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management and relevant software
  • Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement
  • Strong project management and leadership skills
  • Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships
  • Comfortable with collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data
  • Solid judgement with ability to make good decisions
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

  • Good time-management skills
  • Great communication, interpersonal and networking skills
  • Hands on experience with sourcing software

Working Conditions

  • Capability to work extended hours as necessary
  • Ability to work with standard office/computer Equipment
  • Capable of working in an open office environment
  • Travel required with overnight stays (up to 35% per year)

Physical Requirements

  • Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree
  • Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently   
  • Job involves sitting most of the time, but also involves walking or standing for brief periods of time 
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees/visitors
