Obejtive
The Accountant prepares quality separate and consolidated, statutory and management financial statements and related reports under IFRS (or applicable GAAP) for the TCL Group and other assigned CEMEX companies.
Responsabilities
Annual reports delivery
- Prepare Annual Statutory and Summary Financial Statements in coordination with the Record to Report (R2R) team.
- Support the delivery of annual accounting position papers, audit schedules and deliverables as assigned.
- Comply with the deadlines set by the external auditors in coordination with the R2R team.
Quarterly reports delivery
- Prepare Interim Financial Statements in coordination with the R2R team.
- Support the delivery of accounting position papers, schedules and deliverables for the Board of Directors and Committee meetings as assigned.
- Comply with the deadlines set by the corporate secretary in coordination with the R2R team.
Monthly reports delivery
- Perform monthly General Ledger integrity check - SAP - Data monitor, validation and extraction
- Update consolidation financial statements platform HFM - data loading, journal preparation and review
- Update and release monthly management reports - LUCA - data loading, adjustment, information release
- Update and reconcile other formatted reports
- Update/Consolidate management template spreadsheets
- Power BI and platforms - validation, reconciliation and submission of journals
Support CEMEX central and regional compliance and finance requests
- Completion/coordination of accounting questionnaires and other tables
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Good financial analysis, decision making and problem-solving skills

- Teamwork
- Minimum 3 years of experience in preparing IFRS financial statements.
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience as an auditor/accountant/senior (or equivalent) in the audit/assurance department of a
reputable external audit/accounting firm.
