Job Description
Accountable for the Jamaica & Bahamas Cluster financial reporting and co-development and execution of special projects at both the corporate line levels with a view to enhancing the efficiencies and overall profitability of the company. The position is additionally accountable for identifying new business opportunities to be pursued by the Jamaica & Bahamas Cluster.
Main Responsibilities
- Leading the process of preparing the company’s strategic business plans.
- Budget coordination and elaboration.
- Identifying cost improvement initiatives that increase profitability and monitoring monthly results of projects being executed.
- Preparing capital investment analysis, business cases for growth opportunities, and CAPEX execution follow-up.
- Participate in regional strategic projects targeted to achieve improved strategic positioning and increase profitability, growth opportunity assessment, and valuation.
- Executing competitive analysis to identify strengths and weaknesses, monitor industry trends, and macroeconomic analyses.
Position Challenges
- Accuracy in the financial calculations.
- Need to find and present improvement solutions to ongoing business processes.
- The need to constantly scan the business horizon to discern trends and developments from which the company can extract business opportunities to be pursued.
Qualifications

Bachelor's/Masters' Degree in Business, Management, Finance, Economy, Project Manager, Engineering or similar.

2 years of experience in planning position, production, or finance.
Skills
- Knowledge in Strategic Planning, Project Management & Processes, and Finance Management.
- Numerical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word.
- Excellent research, analytical, planning, organizational, and management skills.
