Objective:

 

Reporting to the Dispatch and Depot Coordinator, the Supply Chain Representative weighs and checks bulk and bag cement for the purpose of keeping relevant records. The incumbent is specifically required to prepare invoices, scale ticket delivery receipts of bulk cement, customer balances, ship list and recordings of daily deliveries of cement.

 

 

 

Main Responsibilities include:

 

  • Load trucks: Weigh trucks, Record license number and driver name, Record name of company buying the cement.
  • Seal trucks, Write on information on scale ticket.
  • Record daily delivery figure: Record all information on daily delivery such as amount of bulk, amount of Carib Plus bags and number of Jumbo bags.
  • Print Balance: Go onto the system and print the amount of cement each customer has in balance so that this information will be readily available.
  • Prepare ship list:  Ensure that the correct information is inputted on the system.
  • Calculate bulk cement and make the conversion from pounds to ton.
  • Record information on scale ticket:  Record name of driver, name of customer, customer contact number, customer order number, customer license number and the amount of cement taken.
  • Print the amount of bulk and bags delivered.
  • Create contract of the amount of bulk each truck loads
  • Input daily delivery on computer.
  • Report daily figures to Sales Delivery, Packing Plant Supervisor or Manager and daily delivery to Sales and Marketing Office.
  • Perform any other job-related functions as required.

Required Education / Expertise / Skills:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Attention to detail
  • Customer service oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Schedule flexibility

 

 

 

Required Experience:

 

Minimum experience of 1–2 years' experience in logistics, supply chain, customer service, or related role.
