ENERGY MANAGEMENT ANALYST - POWER

Job Description

Perform power analysis and scenario building, assist in negotiation of electric power suppliers and other power related activities to support the supply of electric power for Solid and Apo based on the regulations, policies and external and internal guidelines to sustain the electric power supply for Solid and Apo in a cost-effective way

Main Responsibilities

• Support in Energy targets planning. Budgeting and 5 years business roadmaps
• Monitoring and control operations performance for Power and identify areas of improvement
• Assist in sourcing, evaluation, and negotiation of electric power supply agreements
• Energy Management System (EnMS) under ISO 50,001 coordination and support
• Coordination and support areas in the relationships with respective power suppliers
• Support in benchmarking and replication of Company’s best practices including Renewable Energy targets and sustainability

Position Challenges
• Collaboration to various stakeholders (supplier, finance, tax, operations and legal) to elaborate Top Management presentations
 

Qualifications

• 1-3 years work experience in Philippines power industry
• Good analystics, report creation/preparation and presentation skills

•  Competent in MS office (Excel, Powerpoint)

• Oral and written communication abilities in order to prepare and communicate information to mid-upper management of the organization.
• Willingness to travel locally and internationally

• Field work at Solid Cement and Apo Cement

Internal/External Relations

Areas such as Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering with good grasp in Planning, Finance, and Tax
