Job Description

As a Business Process Consultant, you will play a key role in leading and supporting Cemex in the analysis, optimization, and implementation of business processes, leveraging automation solutions to drive efficiency and productivity. Working under the guidance of Process Evolution & Portfolio Management team, you will conduct process assessments, recommend improvements, and assist in the implementation of streamlined workflows to deliver successful process improvement initiatives.

Main Responsibilities

1. Process Analysis Support:

  • Assist in analyzing existing business processes to identify areas for improvement and inefficiencies.
  • Collaborate with team members to gather and document requirements.

2. Data Collection and Research:

  • Conduct research and gather relevant data to support process analysis.
  • Assist in the collection and interpretation of quantitative and qualitative data.

3. Documentation:

  • Produce the documentation of current and future processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date process documentation.

4. Recommendation Development:

  • Support the development of recommendations for process improvements based on analysis and industry best practices.

5. Implementation Assistance:

  • Work closely with senior consultants and operations to support the implementation of recommended process changes.
  • Assist in communicating changes to relevant stakeholders.

6. Training and Support:

  • Assist in the development of training materials for employees on new processes.
  • Provide support during training sessions and help address user inquiries.

7. Technology:

  • Learn Cemex’s BPM platform and be prepared to provide training to users.

Qualifications

Academic

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.


Areas of expertise:

  • 3 years+ in business analysis, process management, process modelling, process engineering, continuous process improvement
  • Experience as a Business Process Consultant, with a focus on automation, RPA, and process mining is a plus.
  • Strong interest in business process improvement and consulting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and BPM software and tools (preferably)
  • Project Management experience
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written), any other languages is a plus.
