Job Description

Professional with technical background and fluent English skills, being responsible at a Global Level (worldwide) of the management and analysis of the climate action strategy, mainly CO2e emissions across the company value chain. Climate Change Risks and Opportunities detection and Management.

Main Responsibilities

• Analysis, management and reporting of CO2e emissions data, and detection of improvement opportunities.

• Detect opportunities to improve the company climate action strategy.

• Climate Change Risk and Opportunities Management.

• CO2 footprint administration, including emission factors calculation.

• Reporting CO2e data externally (CDP, DJSI, SBTi…).

• Coordination of region/country/site sustainability CO2 experts and other areas like energy and logistics

• Develop yearly Sustainability/Environmental KPI audits

Position Challenges

1. Continuous communication with the P&IT area to ensure the tools functionalities and availability

2. Coordination between procurement and operational areas for the implementation of MarketPlace

3. Implementation process with different ERP systems

Qualifications

Studies: Technical Degree: Environmental Sciences, Engineer (preferable Chemical engineer), biologist or other sciences.

Languages: English B2, Spanish will be valued.

5-7 yrs experience in Environmental Management including: climate change, LCA, CO2 footprint.

Previous experience in cement operations will be valued, preferable in process or quality. International Experience will be valued.

Software skills Advance Excel, Power Point.

Other software skills. Power BI, collaborative tools (SharePoint…)
