Job Description

Lead, develop and coordinate global fleet maintenance transformation from time based into a Reliable Centered Maintenance (RCM) practices and indicators, driven by data, this position will enable local operations to enhance maintenance design, planning and scheduling, defect elimination, failures prevention, leadership and change management, assuring the highest reliability per component at the machine level, reducing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)  

Main Responsibilities

  • Move from time-based maintenance practices to fuel count Reliable Centered Maintenance (RCM) per component or system at the equipment level
  • Develop a methodology to measure accurately fuel consumption per machine, utilization, fluids management and idling time
  • Develop and Implement measures to baseline maintenance performance indicators and then improvement targets, as they relate to equipment availability, componentry life span, reliability, cost and downtime
  • Support and enable operations to enhance machine spec, planning and scheduling, preventive and predictive maintenance execution and defects correction throughout RCM practices
  • Establish a data driven methodology to support and enable operations to drive business decisions on components / assets maintenance, repair, or replacement versus useful life extension evaluations
  • Establish a standard methodology to determine economical life span per component or system and then the replacement practice base on fuel burn
  • Work along with OEM’s and telemetry to standardize reports to raise the visibility of performance at the machine level
  • Promote a lean and digital culture to enhance best practices sharing, safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement    
  • Work along with Planners and Procurement folks to establish spare parts inventory requirements to minimize idle and maintenance cost
  • Develop and deploy standard methods and procedures for maintenance instructions, service protocols and equipment risk profiles
  • Influence on new products or technologies to be tested in the operations and sign off by end users in global operations

Qualifications

Fluent in English

At least 5 years of experience of team management in an environment with strong operational metrics

 “Change Agent” in a “best-in-class” leading organization.

Academic Background: Graduated degree in Engineering, Business Development or related discipline is required; A master’s degree in supply chain or a MBA is highly desirable

  • Bring high level of ethical, trustworthiness, intellectual, professional and personal values with proven track record of integrity
  • Ability and desire to work in a positive fast paced and high energy environment
  • Strong relationship builder with exceptional communications and interpersonal skills, both within an organization and externally using an analytic and metrics-based approach
  • Hands on management style working with ample understanding of Reliable Centered Maintenance and Operations Excellence, technologies and tools; a track record of accomplishments driving continuous improvement in previous positions
