Job Description

Deliver value to the business by innovating and standardizing Procure to Pay (P2P) processes across CEMEX locations to define the best operating model that maximizes financial benefits, improves efficiency, enhances supplier relationships, and ensures regulatory compliance. Align all initiatives with the “One CEMEX” global strategy and core values.

Main Responsibilities

  • Transformation Initiatives: Lead the implementation of global and local transformation projects to optimize and standardize P2P processes, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
  • Key Performance Indicators: Define P2P performance metrics (procurement efficiency, supplier performance, compliance, cost savings, payment cycle time) to support decision-making and drive improvements.
  • Operative Model: Develop a unified operating model to optimize supplier negotiations, purchasing automation, invoice processing, and payment cycles, achieving cost efficiencies and supplier engagement.
  • Service Delivery Management: Act as the global fronting for procurement operations, supplier disputes, contractual SLA oversight, and collaboration with external service providers.
  • Integrated P2P Network: Foster collaboration between procurement, finance, and suppliers to enhance process efficiency, supplier relationship management, and adoption of digital procurement solutions.

Position Challenges

  • Procurement process expertise (strategic sourcing, purchase order management, invoice automation).
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Coupa).
  • Data analytics and supplier performance management.
  • Financial acumen in procurement cost optimization and risk management.
  • Change management and stakeholder engagement.
