Schedule Availability: Between 25-30 hours per week

Challenges for the Student: 

1. Work effectively in a cement laboratory environment (manual operation, extended periods standing) and perform office tasks related to report preparation and presentations. 
2. Conduct chemical and physical analysis. 

Main responsibilities and activities to be carried out: 

1. Perform tasks involving research on technological development using digital search tools, databases, and related resources. 
2. Prepare technology-monitoring reports.
3. Carry out sample testing and analysis in the cement laboratory. 
4. Support inventory-related activities. 
5. Assist with maintenance planning activities, as well as equipment calibration and verification.

Specific Requirements/ Qualifications:

• Ability to synthesize and organize data, and prepare clear presentations.
• Laboratory experience, including chemical analysis and physical tests involving mechanical effort (handling loads of approx. 20-25 kg)
• Strong attention to detail- chemical analyses are highly sensitive to variations. 
• Independence and initiative: ability to learn and perform chemical and physical laboratory tests without supervision. 
• Act responsibly and in accordance with Cemex Health and Safety guidelines. 
• Computer skills: MS Office and digital design tools.
