Project Objective
Challenges for the Students

- Understand and become familiar with administrative processes.

- Integrate into the laboratory’s work dynamics.
- Attend follow-up meetings for activities and projects.
- Perform in a cement laboratory work environment (manual operations, standing for extended periods).

Strong visual, oral, and written communication skills: preparation of reports and presentation of results.
Main Responsibilities and Activities to Be Carried Out

Support activities related to the management of the laboratory’s administrative processes.

Maintenance, Calibration, and Verification Plan for equipment.

Procurement and inventory management of consumables.

Sample registration.

Expense reporting.

Internal document control.

Internal communication.

Support for operations.

Activities related to Health and Safety.

Organization of spaces and equipment in general.

Collaborate in laboratory tasks: sample preparation, chemical and physical analysis, and material characterization.

Negotiation skills, supplier management, procurement coordination, inventory control, and supplier sourcing.

Computer skills: MS Office, SAP, and digital design tools.

Preferred qualifications: Lean principles (Lean Manufacturing), ISO standards, 5S, Toyota Production System, web page design, and Microsoft SharePoint.
