Job Summary

Production Coordinator-Relief will be part of the Operations team working to provide consistent ongoing plant specific task training for production processes to operation employees. This position will be responsible for 
In house training of hourly personnel in plant specific tasks to include (PAs, Shift Utility, Labor, Maintenance and Electrical personnel) to ensure consistent knowledge transfer. 
Safety training development and mentor program for all new personnel
Interface with Parsable to ensure plant protocols are achieved
Fill in for Production Shift Supervisor when they are on vacation  
 

Job Responsibilities

  • Facilitate training to existing and new hires on production task training for all production processes to PAs, Shift Utility, Labor, Maintenance and Electrical personnel).
  • Identify potential gaps in curriculum and work with operations team members to resolve and implement a solution that supports skill based resolution.  
  • Update and standard work lesson plans as needed based on Cement operational processes.
  • Collaborate with business function teams to evolve and expand the curriculum, leveraging best practices.  
  • Monitor, provide feedback, and write evaluations on end user progress through curriculum assignments and testing
  • Perform analysis to measure the impact of the training curriculum
     

Qualifications

  • 10 years Cement Plant production experience, from raw materials to end product. 
  • 3+ years of experience in cement plant production operations leading teams of people  
  • Degree or Training certifications are a plus. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Experience in cement production operation required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 software
  • Strong project management, analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong presentation and training skills – must be able to speak publicly and in front of large groups
  • Proven ability to manage a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills including logistics and planning capabilities
  • Strong proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to operate technology and troubleshoot seamlessly
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments to meet deadlines on time
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving dynamic, and sometimes ambiguous environment
  • High motivation to help others develop their knowledge and skills
  • Has curiosity and does not settle for the status quo

Working Conditions

  • Capability to work extended hours as necessary
  • Ability to work with standard office/computer Equipment
  • Capable of working in an open office environment

Physical Requirements

  • Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree
  • Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently   
  • Job involves sitting most of the time, but also involves walking or standing for brief periods of time 
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees/visitors
