Project Objective
This position supports global financial reporting under IFRS and collaborates with cross-functional teams across the Company to ensure accurate and compliant reporting.
Challenges for the Students
- Managing accuracy associated with quarterly and annual financial reporting cycles, including SEC filings such as Form 20-F and Form 6-K.
- Addressing technical accounting and disclosure matters under IFRS.
- Coordinating cross-functional teams across geographies.
Main Responsibilities and Activities to Be Carried Out
- Participate in the preparation and review of the Company’s consolidated annual financial statements under IFRS and any interim period as required.
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies, controls and external reporting requirements.
- Support the preparation and coordination of SEC filings, BMV, and other regulatory submissions.
- Collaborate in the analysis and validation of accounting estimates and matters.
- Support implementation and monitoring of new IFRS standards.
- Contribute to tool improvements and automation initiatives within the global reporting process.
Specific Requirements / Qualifications
Technical Skills.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, Power Point, Power BI, and internal financial data analysis tools.
- Experience with financial reporting or consolidation systems is desirable.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, attention to detail. Effective communication and storytelling skills to clearly explain financial information, along with a collaborative mindset and a strong willingness to continuously learn and develop technical expertise.
