Job Description
Assist on the M&A transactions across geographies worldwide, analyze business development opportunities, portfolio rebalancing, support strategic planning analysis, due diligence, post-merger integration process and internal consulting projects.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist in M&A transactions, assist on develop valuation models (DCF, multiples, etc.) and evaluate transaction investment metrics.
- Work in the assessment of business development opportunities in CEMEX and non-CEMEX markets and geographies.
- Contribute to analyze market conditions, competitive dynamics, and industry performance to identify opportunities which would improve CEMEX’s positioning as a leader in the building materials industry.
- Assist developing materials for top management meetings, including Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and other events.
- Work and coordinate with corporate staff and regional operational areas, including finance, legal, tax, accounting, sustainability, operations and technical, R&D, among others.
Position Challenges
Influence different stakeholders, handle stress, work with different areas and cultures, handle short deadlines and last-minute urgent requirements.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of work experience in M&A, Investment Banking, Consulting, Finance, Controllership, Corporate or Strategic Planning, Business Development, Innovation, or equivalent areas

Advanced English required (C1/C2 or TOEFL/IELTS equivalent)

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office

Desirable CFA Level 1
