Job Description

Work as part of the Corporate Strategic Planning (CSP) Team responsible for analyzing competitors and markets, assessing business opportunities across geographies, leading internal consulting projects for CEMEX worldwide, executing M&A/BD transactions and contributing to the development of our Urbanization Solutions portfolio.

Main Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the analyses of markets’ conditions and competitors’ strategy and performance to identify opportunities towards improving CEMEX positioning in the industry
  • Prepare periodic reports analyzing competitors’ financial information and identifying main industry events to support decision making process
  • Participate in project work streams of internal consulting projects for CEMEX worldwide across our 4 core businesses (cement, ready-mix, aggregates and Urbanization Solutions)
  • Assist in M&A transactions, help develop valuation models (DCF, multiples, etc.) and evaluate transaction investment metrics
  • Help develop materials for top management meetings and events

Qualifications

  • Academic Background: College 0-2 years of work experience
  • Subject / Major: Accounting, Administration, Economy, Finance, Industrial engineering, Information Systems, International Negotiations, Information Technology, Engineering
  • Experience: Finance, Planning, Project Management
  • Languages (Advanced Level): English
  • Computer skills: Excel, PowerPoint
