Job Description

Participate in data analytics initiatives across the company.  Contribute as a team member, gathering and transforming data, extracting value from data, developing analytics solutions, and generating quantitative insights.

Main Responsibilities

  • Identifies and maps data sources to create appropriate queries/extraction procedures
  • Performs data processing and conducts exploratory data analysis.
  • Designs and develops statistical predictive models and prescriptive algorithms (using Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence) based on business needs. Validates and improves models through experimentation.
  • Formulates hypotheses and testable predictions. Designs experiments and sampling schemes, gathers required data, tests hypotheses, and writes experiments conclusions. Minimizes the cost of experimentation.
  • Generates apps and tools for proofs of concept/rapid cycle pilots

  • English proficiency
  • 2-3 years of experience

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND: Under-graduate with major on sciences (Math, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, etc).   Master’s degree preferred in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research or Computer Science

INTERNAL: Works with internal customers, data architects, deployment and maintenance teams.

EXTERNAL: Occasional contacts with consultants, software vendors, knowledge communities
