Job Description

Defines and maintains agile processes, methodologies and tools that enable the DevOps capability in the organization. Promotes and ensures adherence to DevOps practices across development projects

Main Responsibilities

  • Enables and maintains tools that support DevOps practices across the teams
  • Ensures tools meet the specific technological needs of the organization
  • Executes POC to ensure proper implementation across the specific teams, and coaches/mentors teams
  • Defines and improves processes and methodology to drive the DevOps culture in the organization
  • Drives research and development of state of the art tools and processes to drive across DevOps: Code, Build, Test, Release, Deploy, Operate and Monitor
  • Drives knowledge management initiatives to drive knowledge sharing from DevOps to the teams and across the various team of the organization
  • Definition and Maintenance of DevOps tools
  • Definition and deployment of methodologies and processes
  • Deploy software development agile methodologies for both legacy and digital solutions

Position Challenges

  • Low level of adoption by the teams.
  • Complexity of the Cemex ecosystem and architecture
  • Low level of adoption of the Agile / DevOps processes and practices
  • Support coverage, time zones and language skills

Qualifications

  • Business proficiency in English
  • 2+ yrs Leading DevOps Initiatives
  • 3+ yrs DevOps, Software Testing, Quality Assurance and Process improvement
  • 5+ yrs Design processes and assessing a broad range of information solutions and products
  • 7+ yrs Develop software development practices, processes and standards
