Job Description

We are searching for a creative, passionate Digital Content and Campaigns Strategist to join Cemex and work towards communicating our journey to reach the next frontier of sustainable construction.

This person will develop, plan, and coordinate digital content strategies based on the channel objectives, KPIs, and audience needs.

This professional has a prominent creative side that, in partnership with our in-house Content Studio, will lead content creation processes for hero projects, including global campaigns.

This role will execute Cemex’s influencer outreach strategy, mapping and prospecting potential influencers, and actively managing the relationship with them.

The job requires strong collaboration with Cemex’s teams and external partners, along with a strategic vision, and being up-to-date with content trends. 

Main Responsibilities

  • Developing and coordinating a cohesive digital content strategy that supports Cemex’s communication goals and key performance indicators.
  • Guarantee messaging alignment and adherence to Cemex’s brand guidelines.
  • Leading the execution of differentiated content strategies for social media and web content, including planning, curation, and research. As a strategist, you will brainstorm creative ways of engaging the audience online and coordinating the production of those engaging content types.
  • Responsible for overseeing and assuring content requirements across platforms using data and metrics to draw insights.
  • Identify overall content needs for the business, target audiences, and customer reviews to help drive content strategies.
  • Fostering a culture of creative content.

Qualifications

  • Experience, knowledge, interest or enthusiasm for the construction industry, architecture, design or related fields.
  • Excellent speaking, writing and editing skills in English.
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, advertising or related field
  • 5-8 years of experience with communication strategy, brand communications, web and social media content and analytics, media, public relations.
  • Experience in the creation and implementation of omnichannel strategies, digital communication and the development of content is preferred.
  • Proven professional experience as a Content Strategist, Content Creator, Digital Comms Specialist or similar role in marketing or advertising agencies or corporations.
  • Experience working with creatives and communicating creative direction and creative feedback.
  • Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. Monday, Basecamp, Trello or others)
  • Soft Skills: creative, authentic, teammate, project manager with great presentation skills; strong data-driven thinking, good network and communication skills, high flexibility and good capability to deal with a changing environment.
