Job Description

Lead the evaluation, acquisition, implementation, support, and management of digital procurement tools globally.


Main Responsibilities

Lead the evaluation, implementation, promotion and manage of digital tools in procurement. (current and new).

Lead the global implementation of ScanMarket as official tool for negotiation processes.

Promote global use of MarketPlace.

Global coordination with P&IT team.

Manage the relationship with procurement digital tools / platforms suppliers

Monitoring of new technologies and tools (automation of transactional processes) - in GSO-Data

Coordination with CX VENTURES, global procurement innovation model (Digitalization).

Warehouse digitization software evaluation.

Documentation of procedures and processes (digital procurement scheme).

Lead the coordination with CEMEX business networks (Cement Operation, RMX, Aggregates, others) for the implementation of digital tools. (supply planning, collaboration spaces, coding)


Position Challenges

  • Guarantee the adoption of the new tools at a global level
  • Coordinate developments and negotiation with digital tool suppliers
  • Guarantee an adequate level of service of digital tools at a global level
  • Agile coordination with other areas of the company (P&IT, GSO, BSO, Operations, Supply team, etc.) with permanent interactions in multiple time zones
  • Inspiration and team development



Fluent in Spanish and English.

Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Engineering, Economics, Systems or Telecommunicatios and master’s degree in Digital Transformation (desirable).

PC Programs such as Word, Power Point, Excel and ERP SAP.

8 + years of experience in Supply chain, Innovation, Communication, Planning, P&IT.

4 +years of experience in projects management, and massive data implementation projects.

2 + years of experience in digital transformation


Technical skills:

1.  Skillful for systems adoption and usage

2.  Project Management capabilities: demonstrated experience designing, managing, and executing large-scale, enterprise-wide projects

3.   Masters processes, support systems, administrative tools, and ERP platforms

4.   Knowledge in procurement processes

5.   Comprehensive management of policies, procedures, and rules

6.   Reporting skills

7.   Elaboration of business cases for the conceptualization of data model solutions (i.e. use cases)

8.   Design strategies to convert complex data structures into simple reports to be easily used by general audiences

9.   Ability to manage and analyze massive transactional databases

10. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
