Job Description
Financial Analyst responsible of generate financial information related to the Corporate Debt and Derivatives Portfolio used to make informed financial decision, validate accounting entries of financial transactions, provide official information required by authorities and investors.
Main Responsibilities
- Consolidated debt validation and analysis.
- Derivatives portfolio analysis, valuation, and reporting.
- Bank exposure.
- Analysis of Interest Expenses.
- Working capital analysis.
- Withholding tax validation and reporting.
- Leases portfolio analysis and reporting.
- Information for prospectus and bank agreements.
- Auditing process.
- Preparation of financial notes for Dictamen, 20-F and 6K reports.
Position Challenges
- Deep knowledge of debt and derivatives transactions.
- Accurate and on-time analysis, valuation and reporting of financial transactions.
- Continuous improvement of data analysis process and information interfaces.
Qualifications
- Willingness to learn financial skills.
- 100% English
- Preferred 1 year experience in similar position.
- Finance, Accounting, and/or Economy degree.
- Full knowledge of Microsoft applications, especially Excel. Other desirable skills: Power BI.
- Manage tight deadlines, with the ability to perform well under pressure.
- Customer service orientation.
- Experience in Treasury Management Systems is a plus.
Internal/External Relations
INTERNAL: Internal relations with different areas within CEMEX such as Comptrollership, Planning, Tax, Investor Relations, Capital Markets and Regional Treasuries.
EXTERNAL: International and local banks, Financial authorities, and Auditors.
