Job Description

Develop, administer, and supervise the implementation of Global ERM & Security Programs according to internal and external regulatory framework, the ERM Platform, policies and normative to guarantee the integrity of the personnel, the continuity of the operations, and the risk administration; and responsible to operate the Operational Risk Agenda, and the Business continuity program, aligned with key stakeholders across all CEMEX Business Units worldwide.  

Main Responsibilities

  • Support the process to analyze the risk agendas and risk assessment documents per country and business unit
  • Support the follow up and coordination of disruptive events worldwide, including but not limited to COVID-19 Pandemic
  • Coordinate Protocols, policies, and procedures creation and/or updating
  • Support the implementation and operation of the Operational Risk Agenda Process in every manufacturing or value creating site worldwide
  • Maintain liaison with Global, regional, and local ERM & security representatives
  • Collaborate in testing, training and operational procedures of the crisis management procedures
  • Research, analyze and design reports on operational and disruptive risks with global or local impacts.

  • Participate in the expertise groups to design protocols, policies, and standards

  • Coordinating with several teams from different departments, geographies, languages, and organizational levels.


  • Language Proficiency: English (100%), Spanish (100%)
  • Bachelor’s Degree, better if master’s degree
  • Areas of expertise: engineering positions (2 years)
  • Technical Skills required by role: proficient in O365, research techniques
  • Soft Skills: excellent presentation/report design, self-motivated, project management, analytical thinking, researcher, self-driving, risk thinking

  • Country responsible for Operations, Legal, Treasury, Process Assessment, Taxes, Planning, HR, Security, H&S and sustainability areas
