(CEN) GLOBAL SECURITY CYBER & INVESTIGATION ANALYST

Job Description

• Implement programs, processes and initiatives to conduct corporate investigations according to internal and external regulatory framework.
• Implementation of measures to protect CEMEX confidential information and intellectual property.
• Conduct and manage technical protective program and support on especial events.

Main Responsibilities

• Participate in the development of criteria, processes and protocols to protect sensitive information and intellectual property of the company.
• Collaborate in the compliance program along with the Legal Department to prevent inappropriate practices and consequent fines and penalties.
• Participate in coordination with other functional areas of Central in audits, intelligence gathering, threats identification, evaluations and investigations.

Position Challenges

• Collaborate proactively with other areas of the company on the protection of the sensitive information.
• Must stay updated on the latest techniques and strategies for information protection and new threats.
• Implement and execute complex programs to the Information Security Council and to upper management.

Qualifications

• English level B2
• Education Level: bachelor’s degree, master desired (MBA, CC).
• Education Field: information technology (IT) sciences, IT related  Engineer, IT security related
• Experience: 2+ years security experience desired.
• High level of analytical ability and creativity to analyze complex situations and to anticipate potential problems and risks.
• Interpersonal skills: Self-confident, listener, performer and team-player
• Information roles: Organized, logical and analytical
• Decision Roles: Anticipation, problem solving and negotiator

Internal/External Relations

INTERNAL

• Functional area heads and members, Regional ERM & Security: Persuade executives about security developments/ Promote partnership / Provide security orientation when needed
   

EXTERNAL

• CEMEX community: Best practices, policies normative to protect sensitive information and intellectual property across the company

• Contractors & Suppliers: Ensure the execution and alignment for corporate security procedures and obtain external support as required
