Job Description

This position is ideal for someone with an intense desire to make sure all intercompany transactions of the CEMEX Group are performed according to market practices and have the Transfer Pricing Documentation according to the OECD Regulations and specially BEPS.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support the Global Transfer Pricing Team of CEMEX in order to prepare Transfer Pricing Documentation according to the OECD regulations, BEPS and Local Regulations of each Country around the world.
  • Perform comparable searches for different countries.
  • Supervise the “work plan tool”.
  • Support with Transfer Pricing audits.

Position Challenges

  • Process high volumes of information in a short period of time with accuracy.
  • Keep a close relationship with information providers.
  • Manage different activities at the same time.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, finance, business, or related field and a strong interest in tax.
  • 3 years of experience in progressively responsible positions in transfer pricing in industry and/or accountancy practice. International tax experience is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Understanding of accounting concepts
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Goal oriented and proactive
  • Flexibility with changing priorities
  • Desire to work with numbers and perform economic and functional analyses.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills in order to handle multiple projects with deadlines.

Internal/External Relations

INTERNAL

  • Different departments in CEMEX, (legal, operation, accounting, manufacture, costs, finance, etc.)

 

EXTERNAL

  • Tax Authorities in different countries.
  • External advisors, auditors.
