(CEN) INSURANCE AND RISK MANAGEMENT ANALYST

Job Description

Support the planning and execution of the insurance and risk management strategy and lead the back-office activities of the in-house insurance broker agency (Qualion).

Main Responsibilities

• Related to the in-house insurance broker agency.
  • Responsible for commission billing, payments scheduling in SAP, audits management, analytics, and monthly reports. Also is the liaison with the GES team that prepares the accounting.
  • Supports the overall strategy execution of the agency with analysis of the renewals, product research, benchmarks, communications, and customer service.
• Related to the planning and execution of the risk management strategy:
  • Provide analytics support for the placement and administration of global insurance programs such as Property, Marine, Marine P&I, Casualty, among others.
  • Provide analytics support for the placement and administration of insurance programs in Mexico such as Medical, Life and Dental, as well as Mobile Equipment, Surety bonds, Infrastructure projects, among others.
  • Provide support in the management of complex claims.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish and English (speaking and writing)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Bachelor’s degree plus 2 to 4 years of work experience in Finance, Planning, Insurance, or equivalent areas.
• Technical skills for this role include proficiency in software for data collection and presentation, advanced Excel capabilities, aptitude in articulating data-driven decisions, proficiency in summarizing and presenting data, and staying abreast of the latest innovations and trends in the insurance industry.
