(CEN) MARITIME LOGISTICS ANALYST

Job Description

• To ensure an  efficient and reliable  ocean transportation process and its administrative requirements. 
• To support the Maritime Logistics organization on its market intelligence activities

Main Responsibilities

- To participate in the  annual shipping budget and maintain the progress  records up to date

- Ensure voyage instructions and documentation are correct and in a timely manner

- Negotiate demurrage / despatch charges between shipping companies, traders and terminal managers

- Process freight and demurrage payments

- Keep track of voyage accounting 

- To procure market intelligence information from shipping companies, brokers, agents etc.

- Participates in special projects required by the Shipping Department

Qualifications

- English Proficiency 
- Areas of Experience:  Marine Traffic, International trade would be good to have
- Bachelor's degree: International trade or similar
- Master degree: Good to have not a must
