Job Description

Develops and delivers communications strategy, plans, programs, and tools for internal and external audiences.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop content and manage global audience to ensure social impact mindset and communication:
    • Ensuring consistency in production and content across multiple communications media and formats
    • Aligning our creative look, tone and voice of all communication materials for employees to our Culture
    • Manage logistics, and identify presenters for key content for SDGs communication and measure progress.
    • Leading all communications coming from Change Management processes from social impact strategy and measurement by tracking internal and external KPIs
    • Aligning global communication strategies and needs to our business reality
    • Content development to drive initiatives and connecting communication strategy with HR and comms for internal and external channels, such as SPARK, Yammer, OGV, WEx, with creative tactics to bring content to life.
    • Leading the creation and ongoing management of Sharepoint
    • Continually seeking to modernize the employee communications experience

Position Challenges

  1. Ensure appropriate translation and delivery of global communications required with Central and BU teams
  2. Understanding CEMEX culture and needs to properly connect them to employees via internal communications or programs
  3. Partner with Communication and HR leaders to ensure smooth communication to inform and engage employees with relevant programs, key dates and CEMEX position on social impact topics
  4. Assure adherence to all organizational brand and style guides
  5. Analyze the effectiveness of internal and external communication programs and develop recommendations to continually improve the quality and effectiveness of employee communications.

Qualifications

  • Organizational communication, journalism, marketing or related field
  • 3/5 years’ experience on internal communications in the private sector
  • Effective articulating strategies and ideas
  • Full proficiency in English
