(CEN) STRATEGIC PLANNING ANALYST

Job Description

Work as part of the Special Projects Strategic Planning Team responsible for the leadership of high-profile projects in CEMEX. The candidate should: (1) Be able to define and mold strategic frameworks, identify key levers and enablers to reach objectives. (2) Develop data driven analysis of businesses, markets, competitors, and industry global trends. (3) Define and assess business opportunities and take leadership of specific project tracks.

Main Responsibilities

• Analyze market conditions, competitor strategies and performance to identify opportunities towards improving CEMEX businesses positioning in the industry
• Explore and analyze trends regarding strategy definition and execution in both our industry and others
• Participate in (and occasionally lead) project work streams of projects for CEMEX
• Support implementation and monitor progress in CEMEX special projects
• Develop materials for top management meetings

Qualifications

• Academic Background: College, at least 5 years of work experience, MBA (highly desired)
• Subject / Major: Accounting, Administration, Economy, Finance, Industrial engineering, or other Engineering majors
• Experience: Strategic Planning (highly desired), Consulting, Finance, Planning, Project Management, Business Development, Innovation, or equivalent experience
• Languages (proficient): English
• Computer skills: Excel, PowerPoint
